Dining

When staying at Hidden Cove guests have a range of in house dining options to experience from

• shopping at the local markets and self-catering,
• enjoying delicious pre-prepared room service meals 
• BBQ  and snack platters 
• or be spoilt with your private in house formal dinner cooked and served to you on your deck or private dining room  

Alternatively, guests have a choice of dining out at a choice of wonderful Santo restaurants, three of which are within a five kilometre radius.

On arrival the guest will find the kitchen stocked with  staples such as, sandwich spreads, cereal, coffee, tea, milk, and  filtered water,oil, vinegar, garlic, fresh herbs.

The hosts are happy to take you shopping to the local supermarket and fruit market to provision you for your stay.

All meals feature fresh seasonal organic produce and menus change  depending on what is in season and freshly available.

Breakfast 

A Continental Breakfast  is included in the tariff.

Breakfast is delivered to your private dining room at a pre-arranged time to suit you.  Breakfast includes fresh seasonal fruit, home made yoghurt, a delicious smoothy , pastry, toast or croissant. 

Cooked breakfast ( extra optional) $25 per person

If you would like a cooked  breakfast,just pre-order the evening before and have breakfast delivered to the villa in the morning at a pre-arranged time.

Lunch and Dinner

You have four choices

1. Self catering - a fully equiped kitchen and Bar-B-Q is at your disposal

2. BBQ  and snack platters- $50 & $25

Your hosts are happy to shop and prepare snack and  BBQ platters for you with fresh local produce. A few hours notice is required.

• example of BBQ platter- Marinated  fillet of beef, pork sausages, salad, crusty bread
• example of snack platter - pate, dips, biscuits or crusty bread, cheese with home made relishes
  

3. Room Service Meals -  $25 per head

The room service meals can be ordered and will be delivered to your kitchen between 5 and 6 pm, to allow you a dining experience that is  completely at your convenience. You can eat early or late. No pressure to dress for dinner or to have your special couple time interrupted by staff or other guests. 

Hearty home cooked meals  only require for you heat form a few minutes and serve. . Some examples are and depends on what produce is freshly available;

• Thai Green Sweet Chicken Curry
• Boeuf Bourguigon
• Indian Beef curry
• Vegetable and Lentil curry
• Meat balls in spicy tomatoe sauce
• Green paw paw salad with chicken or beef
• marinated chicken skewers

4. De-Gustation candle lit Dinner - (Pre-book) $60 per person

Sit down to a delicious five course set menu meal served to you by your host on the deck or in your dining room. The menu changes with the seasons and the availability of fresh organic ingredients.

Five small courses to delight your taste buds, beautifully presented in a formal setting. 

Restaurants close by

There are some excellent restaurant’s within 5 km of the retreat should you choose to venture out for the evening.  Your hosts are happy to arrange bookings and transport for you.
